Yuzuru participates in every class and has a great personality; one of our PS 116 Chess Club & Team favorites!

Yuzuru has fantastic energy and loves trying her best at chess. She has shown great growth at chess (and focus) in just her first year on the team! She demonstrated much strength and resilience when she competed recently at the State Championships, in Saratoga. This is her kick-off into scholastic chess and major tournaments, and we look forward to seeing how far she can spread her chess wings throughout the next few years.
