My name is Russell Makofsky (Coach Russ)
7 years ago, we founded ICN on the belief that every child matters and that every child can be great at the game of chess. We believed that when we connected passionate students, with passionate coaches and engage entire communities in the process, magic will happen. Magic did happen.
We still belief that to be true today.
As a father of three young children, today I am asking for your trust, not only in that the game of chess can be of transformative value to your children, but that ICN will do everything in our power to help guide them to reach their full potential. Not only as individuals but along with the entire communities and teams they represent.
This Sunday is out 1st Team Tournament.
I want this to be a spark of something great. Let's build a community that still believes and fights for excellence.
